President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC), TRNC Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan attended the “International Health Services Symposium and B2B Meeting” held in Pristina, the Heart of the Balkans, which brought together scientists and physicians from Turkey, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Kosovo.
International Health Services Symposium and B2B Meeting was held in Pristina with the support of the Kosovo Ministry of Health and the Global Healthcare Travel Council (GHTC) and with the organization of CIAR Medical. More than two hundred physicians as well as expert scientists from Turkey, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Kosovo attended the symposium.

HEALTH TOURISM OPPORTUNITIES OF NORTH CYPRUS WERE INTRODUCED…

On the first day of the symposium, which opened with the speeches of Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Pristina Sabri Tunç Angılı and President of the Global Healthcare Travel Council, TRNC Deputy Dr. Ahmet Savaşan and lasted two days, specialists discussed IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), General Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Genetics, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Ophthalmology, Urology, Oncology, Psychiatry, Interventional Radiology, Cardiology and made presentations on Thoracic Surgery. In the special session held on the same day, Dr. Ahmet Savaşan made a presentation on the Health Tourism Opportunities of Northern Cyprus and the training and activities that the Global Healthcare Council will hold during the TRNC presidency.

200 PHYSICIANS PARTICIPATED IN B2B MEETINGS…

In the B2B meetings held on the second day of the symposium, more than two hundred physicians, hospital representatives and representatives of healthcare institutions from Kosovo and Albania came together and efforts were made to develop mutual cooperation opportunities.
